“Thank you." Two simple words that hold so much power. It conveys positivity and gratitude, while validating another person.
In this social media era marked by self-centered actions and a focus on “me, myself and I", it seems that people lack empathy, understanding and patience.
Simple acts of kindness and just being nice are beacons of light we all need more of.
Thanking a person means much more than being polite. It’s validation of another human being and an expression of gratitude for what they did for you. Who wouldn’t be happy to receive that every day?
Showing genuine gratitude builds connection and elevates our lives. Acts of goodness are much stronger than we can imagine.
Ask yourself, are there people in your life you should be thanking? Are there people you take for granted and they don’t realize you appreciate them? Could you thank that person who bagged your groceries, filled your order, or helped you at the hardware store? Could you thank a co-worker or your spouse?
Just think, by simply appreciating and acknowledging others, you have the power to uplift even if just for one day.
All with a simple, “thank you.”
